Argyle Waterfall
Located on the northern side
of Tobago, Agryle waterfall is Tobago’s highest waterfall (175 feet) and a huge
attraction to number of locals and foreigners. To reach the waterfall, visitors
would have to hike approximately 15-20 minutes along a defined trail through
forested areas, the hike is a relatively easy one and is suitable for all ages.
Tour guides are available to facilitate the trips and a precaution the
waterfall is not recommended throughout the rainy the rainy season. The hike is
quite scenic as a number of species can be seen. The waterfall consists of
three levels at varying heights; pools are located at the bottom of each level
with the lowest level being the deepest. There, visitors can go swimming or can
relax on the rocks. Argyle waterfall is a fun and exciting trip and is
definitively recommended for adventure seekers.
