Paria Waterfall

Paria Waterfall can be accessed by hiking through Blanchisseuse. The trail is breathtaking as a number of coastal formations such as stacks, arches and caves can be seen along the coastline. The hike begins at the Blanchisseuse Spring Bridge continues through the North Coast Forest, across the Paria Beach and ends with a short hike to the Paria Waterfall. The duration of this hike is approximately two and a half hours long but is certainly worth the trip. The hike is quite difficult and is not recommended for first time hikers as it involved a lot of strenuous activity. Nevertheless, it is an exhilarating experience for adventure lovers.

The waterfall itself is breathtaking, its clean, clear, pristine waters plunge over a 10 feet cliff creating a natural pool. Visitors can enjoy the day either swimming, relaxing in the nearby rocks or for the braver ones, by taking a dive off the cliff.  For the adventure seekers, Paria Waterfall is definitely one of the best waterfalls in Trinidad and Tobago.
