Toco Lighthouse



The Toco Light House is located northeast of Trinidad in the remote village of Toco. The drive is a bit long but the trip is completely worth it. The facility is equipped with a car park, washroom facilities and a snackette. Visitors can enjoy a quite picnic on one of the many shaded tables strategically located around the compound. 


From the lighthouse, visitors can enjoy the spectacular views from the very last rocks on the Island, and I must say it is truly a picturesque sight. It is a relaxing, wonderful experience for the entire family. For an even more remarkable view, visitors can walk down and stand on the rocks near the cliff, here amazing pictures can be taken and some people even enjoy using the area for sport fishing. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a nice afternoon, lay back, relax and have fun, the Toco lighthouse is definitely a place to do so.

Macqueripe Bay

Macqueripe beach is unlike any other beach in Trinidad and Tobago. Great for bathing, snorkeling and scuba diving, the beach has limited sand and its waters are very calm. Macqueripe is not ideal for sun bathing as the nearby hillside provides the beach with adequate shade it is however a picturesque site and an ideal spot to relax with the family.
