Speyside Tobago




Speyside is a little village located in northern Tobago that lies on the leeward coast, across from the island of Little Tobago. The area is famous for its main activities which include fishing, agriculture, bird-watching, snorkeling and scuba diving.

From Speyside, some of the island’s best coral reefs can be seen and as such it is a popular diving site for locals and tourists. The reefs are less disturbed than the more famous Buccoo Reef in southwestern Tobago. It is an incredible site and definitely worth the visit.

Macqueripe Bay

Macqueripe beach is unlike any other beach in Trinidad and Tobago. Great for bathing, snorkeling and scuba diving, the beach has limited sand and its waters are very calm. Macqueripe is not ideal for sun bathing as the nearby hillside provides the beach with adequate shade it is however a picturesque site and an ideal spot to relax with the family. Macqueripe beach also features additional activities such as nature trails and an exciting zip lining experience. A trip to Macqueripe beach is definitely worthwhile.
